Guild Rankings The guild is now ranked into 4 basic categories. Initiate&PuGs, Member&Alt, Raider, and Elite Raider. These ranks directly reflect your contribution to 25 man weekend raids over the past 4 weeks at any given time. Initiate&PuGs - These are players who are either new to the guild or outside the guild. They are lowest on priority for loot - they will only recieve loot if NO ONE else in the guild wants it for mainspec OR offspec Members&Alts - These players are either Alts or Mains who are not very active in 25 man Raids. They may receive mainspec loot only if higher ranks do not want the item for mainspec. Raider - These players are fairly regular and contribute to our 25 man raids significantly. They are near the top of loot priority, second only to the Elite Raiders. These members typically have raided 70-90% of the 25mans over the past 4 weeks. Elite Raider - These players are at nearly every single raid. They contribute greatly to the success of our 25 mans. Because of how important these players are, they will be at the top of loot priority. They may even take offspec loot at times over others mainspec if their offspec is often needed in our 25 man raids. These are descriptions of the four categories. Each member will take a period of time to move upward, but may be dropped downward very quickly. The best ways to move up are to show up to raids on time, for the entire raid, every weekend - and be effective at the role you are there to fill. The best way to move down quickly is to stop showing up for raids without notice, cause the raid to often wait for you, or generally act as a hinderance to our guild progression. If players make a good-will effort to inform us about absenses, we will generally demote much more slowly. Ultimately, the officers and guildmaster will rank players by how we feel they contribute to 25 man raids. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ EPGP The EPGP system will no longer function in the same way we have used it in the past. EP will now only be given to members who sign up for 25 man raids, and show up on time. If you sign up to a 25 man raid and do not show up on time, you will recieve NEGATIVE EP. If you do not sign up to a raid, but show up - you will simply get no EP for that raid. 25 Man raids must be signed up for IN GAME ONLY - DO NOT SIGN UP ON THE WEBSITE. 25 Man raids signups will be closed up to TWO HOURS PRIOR to the raid beginning. Once signups are closed, the list is LOCKED for positive and negative EP. If you do not know if you can make a raid two hours before it starts, it is best that you do not sign up for it. If anyone is put onto the list in a "standby" status, they will not be counted for EP. If you leave early from a Raid, there may be some penalty via the EPGP system - which will be decided on an individual case. Plan on attending for the full scheduled time. In this way, EPGP will now represent how often you show up for 25 man raids on time, verses how much loot you have recieved. EPGP will now be used as a TOOL for loot distribution, rather than the Gospil it once was. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 25 Man Loot Distribution We will continue to use the EPGP Lootmaster addon for bidding Need/Greed for items. Loot will now be distributed at the discression of the Guildmaster and Officers, who will act as a loot council. The aim of the council is to distribute loot in a manner which is most effective to guild advancement. Ranking and EPGP will both be used heavily in making loot decisions, however the council will always be allowed to deviate from Rankings and EPGP when needed. There will be no public raid discussion about the loot distribution, it will all happen in officer chat. If there are any questions or concerns about an item, they may be discussed after the raid in private with the officers. Loot will very rarely go outside of guild or to Initiates. Initiates will now be in a 1 month probationary period. Most loot will remain within the ranks of Member and above. The guild's goal is to make the best use of everyones time by starting raids on time, and clearing the content effectively. This is the reason for the drastic loot changes - to put the loot to the best use. When the guild succeeds in clearing content, there is more loot to go around. It is ultimately in each individuals best interest for the guild to succeed as a whole - even those who attend soley for loot will get thier share when they work with the team to clear content. Loot comes naturally in a successful guild, in abundance. We cripple ourselves from gaining loot and clearing content if the items are not being used to their max! We will strive to be fair to all members, and not allow any favoritism to be involved in decisions. The current leadership in our guild is very concerned about our success, and are driven more to "winning" than to the loot. It should be the view of all officers that loot is a means to an end, and not the end itself. | ||
