Forte is dissolving.

We've had some great times together, and made amazing raiding progress through the past year.  The time has come though, we have lost so many great players to vacations, work, "top" raiding guilds.. and have not been able to replace the experience and gear lost - the remaining members are best served to be able to join up with other guilds to continue their progression in Tier 9.

Despite a slim lineup over the past few weeks, we still managed to put on some good raids - I recieved many compliments from the "PuGs" we brought in to our raids because of our organization and teamwork.  The only reason we did not progress further, to the top of the server, was a high turnover rate over a long period of time.  We have an outstanding bunch of players, and I was happy to raid with each and every one of you.

Its time now for our guys and gals to move on - if you want to raid hard, look to the top guilds on our server.  If you need a recommendation for your applications, feel free to send them to talk to me.  If you're looking for something casual, theres a lot of guilds out there now that are getting casual players geared up on the new Emblem system and don't require a time commitment.  Keep in touch, and I wish you all the best!

I'll be removing most people from the guild on Tuesday, so login soon if you'd like to claim anything from the bank - afterwards I'll auction the remainder and send it out to some people who I think didn't get their fair share.  A lot of guys contributed graciously to our guild bank, and I'd like for them to get back a significant bit of it.

Wednesday night was our first night of T9 content, and we got 2 10 man groups through everything currently available in just over an hour of playtime.  The trio of bosses were fun to learn, and challenging enough for "normal mode".  Heroic mode is currenlty unavailable, saying that we must first complete the raid on Normal mode.  Due to the bosses being released 1 per week, it may be a while before we can get our feet wet in Heroic!

Since the new content is very short right now, and will get longer over the next few weeks, we'll be clearing T9 and then working on finishing T8.  We've mostly be limited by time in completing the final bosses in Ulduar, so will now use the raid extensions to finish up the content.  Tonight we downed General Vezax in one shot, after finishing the T9 10 man.  We'll play with Yogg a bit tomorrow night.

The guild has made policy changes this week, placing us on a more hardcore level than we had been in T8.  Be sure to check the forums, so that you understand the changes!  Veterans remember our T7 glory days at the front of progression on Khadgar.  Its our time again.

After much blood sweat and tears, Thorim is now down.  We have some more ideas to turn Thorim into farm, but he is going to be a struggle until we can get some tweaks done to our setup.  Great job tonight guys, and thanks to the 3 raiders we had attend from outside the guild!

Since Runed Orbs requests are outnumbering the number we have available in the bank, they'll be distributed on a loot council type of system.  There is a Forum Post which you can use to request Orbs.

We currently have a spot for another officer in the guild.  Officers need to be available to raid ~4x a week on average, both for 10 man raids and 25 man.  They will be expected to step up as leaders, to organize and lead 10 mans, to put together a balanced group, and ensure the raid runs smoothly.  They must have high integrity, as they are responsible for ensuring EP is awarded properly and the guild bank is well managed.

We're now over a month into the T8 content, and some issues with our guild system have been arising - mostly centered around loot priority and scheduling.  I've posted some topics in the forums that I'd like everyone to read and respond to, so that I have an idea of where everyone stands.

We've had a large shift in players and schedules as we transitioned to T8, so I look forward to hearing from everyone so that we can best plan our raids.

Forte is a relaxed layed back group of adults looking for progression. We are currently looking for all classes except melee dps classes. We raid on Tuesday and Wednesday nights for 10 man Ulduar at 830pm server, and Saturday and Sunday nights for 25 man Ulduar at 800pm server. We are looking for geared people that are wanting to explore what the game has to offer. We are currently 10/14 in 10 man and 8/14 in 25 man and working on our Thorim Strategy.
